Universal DTTS History
Universal Defensive Tactics Training Services was created out of a need for Law Enforcement personnel to acquire more training. The soft to hard physical control area of the Use of Force Model is our specialty, to train law enforcement to become more efficient on the job and safer, both physically and legally. Before Universal Defensive Tactics Training Services was formed, most training was provided in more of a martial arts environment. Most Defensive Tactics training are based on martial arts techniques however, with the demand for more specific training to the Law Enforcement environment, Universal Defensive Tactics Training Services was formed to provide such services.
Training in martial arts is still done by many Law Enforcement personnel. All the basic skills are important and encouraged however, not everyone takes that initiative to training 2 or 3 times a week. Specialized courses by Universal Defensive Tactics Training Services provide those necessary skills that are conducive to the Law Enforcement environment, using the correct language and tactical communications.
